Christine is a hygienist who has worked for East Dental for over 20 years. Her ability to make you feel at home is a rare gift. She likes everyone she meets and enjoys getting to chat with people all day. She is a lifelong Eastsider. Chris will make sure that you leave feeling a part of our neighborhood clinic. Her commitment to your dental and medical health is clear. In her spare time, she and her husband like to head to their campsite on Lake Mille Lacs. She also enjoys canning, baking, and volunteering for a variety of fundraisers. Her involvement with the St. Paul K9 Foundation (helps to fund canine officer purchases, training, and upkeep) is commendable. Chris works Monday through Thursday from 830 am to 5 pm.
Ted is a hygienist who lives in our east side community. He is great at helping patients through their visits and helping people keep their teeth. Ted is a hygienist with extensive experience in the latest periodontal (gum) treatments. He really enjoys helping patients improve their medical health by getting gum infection under control. Also, he has received additional training in the use of painless laser therapy that is both cost effective and exceptional at regaining a healthy mouth. He is fantastic with patients (adults and children) who are in excellent dental health. Since Ted is also an Eastsider, he expects to run into many familiar faces. His dad and sister are also dentists! Ted enjoys camping and fishing and spending time with his nephews. His hours are 8-5 Monday through Thursday.
Kathy is a licensed dental assistant whose family comes from the East Side. She has an extensive experience in the dental industry. She spends time with her husband and adult children when she isn't in the clinic.
Heidi is also a licensed dental assistant. After an outstanding internship, we asked her to join us full time. Heidi grew up in Maplewood and graduated from the Spanish Immersion program at Highland. If you speak Spanish, Ella se hable espanol! With Heidi's help, we will be able to treat emergency patients more efficiently and create more availability for hygiene appointments. She enjoys spending time with her parents and 2 younger siblings.
After an amazing 32 years and helping thousands of patients, Karen has retired. We will all miss her friendly voice.
After a very thoughtful search, for a new receptionist, we have found the newest member of our dental family. Quinn will be joining us soon. If you need an appointment, have a tooth problem, or just need information about the practice, then she will be able to help you out. Quinn grew up west of the cities and just graduated from the University of MN. She would like to attend dental school in the future.
Our billing and insurance coordinator is Freddie, who is happy to help you figure out your insurance questions. Freddie is available Monday through Thursday during business hours and on most Fridays between 9am and 1pm. Insurance can be very confusing, and we are here to help you out! If you need help understanding a statement, making a payment, or setting up payment plans, just send a note or call. Freddie enjoys anime, her dog , Macklemore and spending time drawing artwork.
